Journeys: templates and triggers explained
5 min read 0 viewsby Alphorix Team
Journeys (Marketing Email → Journeys) send a sequence of emails — and optional WhatsApp messages — automatically, based on what a lead does in your CRM.
Start from a template
Click New journey to open the gallery. Templates are grouped by goal:
- Onboarding — Welcome / New lead, Converted onboarding
- Education — Trading education (1 week)
- Nurture — Qualified nurture, Interested lead nurture
- Activation — KYC approved → fund your account
- Client growth — FTD Starter, FTD Growth, FTD VIP
- Follow-up — No-answer follow-up
- Re-engagement — Unqualified, Lost win-back, Not interested
Every email, wait and branch is editable.
Triggers — what starts a journey
| Trigger | Starts when |
|---|---|
| New lead is created | A lead arrives from any source |
| Lead status changes | Status changes to the statuses you pick (optionally only from certain statuses) |
| Tag is added to a lead | A tag (e.g. education) is added — by a form, bulk tag or import |
| KYC is approved | The lead's KYC status becomes Approved |
| First deposit is made | The first deposit falls inside your amount range (From is inclusive, To is exclusive) |
| Lead matches a segment | The lead starts matching a saved segment |
| Manual enrolment only | You add leads yourself |
Add optional filters (country, language, source, campaign, tags) to narrow who enters.
Adding leads manually
- From Leads: select leads → Add to journey.
- Inside a live journey: Add leads or Enrol existing (backfills everyone who already matches).
How leads leave
- Exit rules — e.g. leave when status becomes Converted or Lost.
- Deposit goal — journeys with the first deposit goal end the moment the lead deposits, and the deposit is credited to the journey.
- The last step finishes the journey.
