Enabling two-factor authentication (TOTP)
Alphorix supports TOTP-based two-factor authentication (compatible with Google Authenticator, Authy, 1Password, Microsoft Authenticator and any RFC 6238 app).
How to enable
- Admins / Managers — open Reports in the sidebar; the Two-factor authentication card is at the top
- Sales reps — open My day; scroll to the Two-factor authentication card in the right column
- Click Enable 2FA
- Scan the QR code with your authenticator app
- Enter the 6-digit code shown by the app to confirm
- Save your recovery codes somewhere safe — you'll need them if you lose your phone
Next time you log in, after your password, you'll be prompted for the 6-digit code.
Recovery codes
You get 8 one-time backup codes. Each works exactly once. If you use them all, disable and re-enable 2FA to generate a fresh set.
Disabling 2FA
From the same card, click Disable 2FA. You'll be asked to enter your password again as a safety check.
Enterprise policy (coming soon)
We'll soon add a workspace-wide toggle that lets admins require 2FA on all admin and manager accounts. If you'd like early access, email info@alphorix.net.
A one-time DNS + SVG setup that puts your verified brand logo next to every email you send from alphorix.net — proven to lift open-rates by 10-30%.
The recommended way to add new users: send them a one-time link so they pick their own password.
